FAQs

TOOTHBRUSH

1. What are the bristles made from?

Our bristles are made from either natural horse hair or boar hair, depending on the variant selected.

They are animal-derived fibres chosen for durability, softness and performance — without synthetic nylon.

2. Is this toothbrush plastic-free?

The handle is 100% natural bamboo.
The bristles are natural animal fibre.

There are no petroleum-based nylon bristles used in this product.

3. Is it vegan?

No.
Because the bristles are derived from horse or boar hair, this toothbrush is not vegan.

If you prefer a vegan option, this product would not be suitable.

4. Is it hygienic?

Yes.

Natural animal bristles have been used in toothbrushes for centuries. With proper care (rinsing thoroughly and storing upright to dry), they perform effectively.

We recommend replacing your toothbrush every 2–3 months, just as you would with any toothbrush.

5. Are the bristles soft or firm?

They are designed to be medium-soft.

Firm enough to clean effectively.
Gentle enough for daily use.

If you have sensitive gums, consult your dentist before switching from synthetic bristles.

6. How do I dispose of it?

The bamboo handle is compostable.
The bristles can be removed with pliers before composting.

Because they are natural fibre, they break down far more efficiently than nylon bristles.

7. Why choose animal bristles over nylon?

Nylon bristles are petroleum-derived plastics.

We chose natural fibres to reduce synthetic materials in daily routines while maintaining functional performance.

LOOFAH

1. What is a loofah?

A loofah is a dried plant fibre derived from the Luffa plant. It is not synthetic and not plastic.

It is 100% plant-based.

2. Is it compostable?

Yes.

Once it reaches end of life, it can be composted or disposed of naturally.

3. Does it contain chemicals?

No synthetic chemicals are added.

Our loofahs are natural plant fibre, cleaned and dried for use.

4. How long does it last?

With proper care (rinsing and allowing it to dry fully between uses), a loofah typically lasts 3–4 weeks depending on frequency of use.

Replace regularly for hygiene.

5. How do I clean it?

After each use:

• Rinse thoroughly
• Squeeze out excess water
• Hang in a dry, ventilated area

Occasionally soaking in hot water can help refresh it.

6. Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Natural loofah provides light exfoliation.

If you have very sensitive skin, start gently and reduce pressure as needed.

7. Why not use synthetic shower sponges?

Many conventional shower sponges are made from plastic-based materials.

Loofah offers a plant-based alternative that avoids synthetic mesh fibres in your daily routine.
